R2R Connect Privacy Policy

R2R Connect ("the app") lets a Shopify merchant ("you") list R2R's product catalogue on your store, keep stock and prices in sync, and have R2R fulfil orders placed for those products. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.

Data we collect

When you install the app we receive, through Shopify's APIs:

  • Store information: your shop domain and the access token Shopify issues to the app.
  • Product and inventory data: the products you import or link, their variants, prices, and stock levels.
  • Order data for R2R-supplied items: when a customer buys an R2R product from your store, we receive the order's line items, the customer's name, email, and shipping address, and the amounts, to forward the order to R2R for fulfilment.

We do not receive or store full card numbers. Card details for the cost-of-goods charge are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We hold only a Stripe reference to your saved payment method.

How we use it

  • To create and update R2R products on your store and keep their stock and price in sync.
  • To forward paid orders for R2R-supplied items to R2R so they can be fulfilled and shipped to your customer.
  • To charge you the cost of goods sold for those items through Stripe.
  • To show you order status, notifications, and basic analytics inside the app.

Who we share it with

  • R2R (the supplier): order and shipping details needed to fulfil the order.
  • Stripe: payment details needed to process the cost-of-goods charge.
  • We do not sell your data or your customers' data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Retention and deletion

  • We keep order records while you use the app, and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting. Customer personal data on forwarded orders is anonymised after the retention window once the order is fulfilled and any return window has lapsed.
  • We respond to Shopify's mandatory privacy requests: on a customer data-erasure request we remove that customer's personal details, and 48 hours after you uninstall the app we erase all of your store's data from our systems.

Where it is processed

The app runs on Microsoft Azure (United Kingdom region). Payment processing is handled by Stripe.

Your rights

You can request access to or deletion of personal data through Shopify, which relays the request to us, or by contacting us at admin@r2rfulfilment.com.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
